How can I download software (mostly freeware) to my Palm Treo 750. ?

I have tried but failed every time. I download the stuff to my computer but get stuck there.

When I had a 750 I didn’t have much luck finding anything free, so if you have it, then you’re off to a good start. Once you have it on your computer, all you need to do is add it to the list of applications to sync to your phone on the next ActiveSync. You’ll have to have ActiveSync installed (if it’s Windows XP), or have Mobile Device Center setup (if Windows Vista). Once you add the application to the list of things to install on the next sync, the only step afterwards is to sync your phone with the computer.
